Editing a Template

• If you find an error on the template, or if you need to change the original, you need to edit an existing template.

• But: Excel does not allow change in existing template when opened via File menu, New, Spreadsheet Solutions tab.

• Instead, use File, Open, and locate the original .xlt file.

• Apply your changes, and

  • Save to modify existing template

  • Save As... to save a new version of the template
