11. Entering and Deleting Text

• A text placeholder:

  • an empty text box.

  • The insertion point, or blinking vertical line, indicates where text will appear when you type.

• In Normal or Slide view:

  • type text directly into the text placeholders.

• Placeholder gets resized automatically to fit the content.

• The AutoFit Text feature changes

  • line spacing

  • paragraph spacing between lines of text

  • font size to make the text fit.
