country code, domain name, and IP address assignments
IANA, the technical part of ICANN
name registries such as
VeriSign Global Registry Services (.com, .net)
Public Interest Registry (.org)
and over 100 registrars (e.g., Domain Bank, Register.com, Tucows...)
