• The Fluency with Information Technology textbook is required.

• There is an optional Office XP bundle that should be purchased if you prefer to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint on your home computer or a laptop.

• Reading this week:

  • CIT-11 Syllabus and course policies

  • Read textbook Chapter 1.

  • Reading Chapter 2 is part of the next week assignment, but you may find it helpful to read it before completing this week's homework assignment.

  • Read several articles about the history of computers.

• If you do not have the book yet, you can still do most of the research online.
