18. Troubleshooting Printers

• Paper jams:

  1. Turn printer off and then on -- the printer may clear the problem on its own. This is known as power cycling the printer.

  2. Remove and inspect the paper tray.

  3. Sometimes laser printer fusing assembly overheats and simply needs time for cooling.
